Emergency Preparedness Meeting

Are there some some things you failed to consider in your efforts to be prepared for future emergencies?

Come to the Community Center on Saturday, March 18th from 10 to noon and see what you didn’t think of. Bring a pad and pencil because there is a lot of information you might not have thought of to prepare for the “Big One,” as well as our normal hurricanes, floods, landslides, power failures, water outages and road closures.

Do you want to know why you need more water than you thought (and an easy way to get it)? Can you find dry wood in a sopping wet forest? How long is the shelf life of a can of beans? What two important areas were left out of your first aid class? These gems of knowledge and many more await you in this essential seminar.

Free tuition!  Meeting will be led by Pete Steen.
